Meet the Board

Brian C. Brumley, LMSW-IPR – Presiding Member

Brian Brumley of Sumner is a Licensed Master Social Worker and the director of field education for the School of Social Work at Texas A&M University-Commerce. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Association of Social Boards, Red River Valley Fair Association  and Council on Social Work Education. He also volunteers for Community Helpers, Tigertown Community Center, The Dr. Joanne Olivard Foundation and Lamar County Junior Livestock Show. Brumley received a Bachelor of Science in political science and economics from East Texas State University and a Master of Science in social work from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Dolores Saenz-Davila, LCSWVice Chair

Dolores Saenz-Davila of McAllen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor and owner of Saenz Therapeutic Care, PLLC. Prior to establishing a private practice with offices in McAllen and Brownsville, she gained valuable experience providing behavioral health services to young children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in Central Texas, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Mrs. Saenz-Davila is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Organization of Forensic Social Work and the National Alliance for Mental Illness. Saenz-Davila received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Postgraduate Fellowship in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Yale University School of Medicine, Child Study Center. She is a Trauma Informed Care (TIC) Specialty Provider, a Strong Star Network Provider, and has completed an Advanced Forensic Social Work Certificate Program.

Katie Andrade, LMSW

Katie Andrade of Mt. Pleasant is a Licensed Master Social Worker at Titus Regional Medical Center. Her experience entails of working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary hospital team in formulating and facilitating patient hospital discharge plans. She also provides support for patients with substance abuse issues, domestic and sexual assault incidents, trauma accidents and prenatal loss. She has also served on the Mobile Integrated Health team that provided preventative medical care in patient’s home.

Her previous experience with Communities in Schools consisted of identifying needs and providing services for children and families in the school and community setting.

Andrade has obtained a translator certification. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She is a former member of the Texas A&M University – Commerce Honor Society. Andrade received both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Social Work from Texas A&M University – Commerce.

Korina Delapeña

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Korina Delapeña to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. Delapeña is a philanthropic leader and former communications professional who has focused her public service in the non-profit arena addressing child drowning prevention in Texas. Most recently, Delapeña was elected as President of Safe Kids Austin, an organization that provides dedicated and caring staff, operational support and other resources to assist in achieving a common goal of keeping children safe. Delapeña currently serves as the Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Live Like Cati, a child drowning prevention organization that provides free life jackets to the public together with water safety education and advocacy. Delapeña has also served and is an active board member of The Arc of the Capital Area, a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through compassionate case management and innovative programs. Delapeña is a proud native Texan, wife to an Air Force Veteran, and mother. She has made her life mission in helping the most vulnerable, children and families who have suffered trauma and tragedy. She believes it is important to support social workers because they are trained professionals that are devoted to helping vulnerable people and guide communities through challenges they face in everyday life. She understands firsthand the importance of being united in their commitment to advocating for and improving the lives of individuals, families, groups, and societies. Delapeña brings bilingual stakeholder engagement and consensus building skills to her new position and looks forward to helping solve the challenges put before the Board.

Ryan Dollinger, LCSW-S

Ryan Dollinger of Plano is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with designation as a clinical supervisor. Mr. Dollinger is a Social Work Supervisor for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Mr. Dollinger’s professional experience includes working with individuals in various populations, including addictions, inpatient and outpatient mental health, crisis intervention, grief and bereavement counseling, acute medical care, and veterans experiencing trauma.

Mr. Dollinger is active within the state and local communities, including his service as an Advisory Board Member for the Lamar University Alumni Board, Advisory Board Member to the Texas Juvenile Justice Advisory Board, Member of the Texas Health and Human Services Policy Council on Children and Families, and Member of the National Association of Social Workers. Mr. Dollinger was previously in multiple leadership roles with the National Association of Social Workers Texas Chapter and has served as a board member of CASA of Southeast Texas.

Mr. Dollinger received a Bachelor of Social Work from Lamar University, a Master of Social Work from Texas State University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University.

Quida J. Pryor

Quida J. Pryor of Sugar Land is a retired educator, corporate business analyst, financial consultant, and project manager. Pryor has over 30 years of professional experience in teaching math at the elementary level, executing payroll systems, testing new financial software, and recommending cost-effective financial process improvements at the corporate level. She is an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and with organizations that aid people with disabilities. She is a certified payroll professional and a past officer in the American Payroll Association. She received the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow recognition in 2023. Pryor received a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies and Accounting from United States International University and a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media from the University of Houston.

Asia Rodgers

Asia Rodgers of Fort Worth is the Managing Partner of Asia Rodgers Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm. She is an active member of the Junior League of Dallas and a delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women with the United Nations. In addition, she is a part of the inaugural class of the Lyndon B. Johnson Women’s Campaign School at The University of Texas. Rodgers received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights from Southern Methodist University. Mrs. Rodgers brings comprehensive knowledge of social issues and systems affecting marginalized communities and is passionate about developing and facilitating programs to empower communities in need.

Jennifer Swords, LBSW

Jennifer Swords, LBSWJennifer Swords of Fort Worth is a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker with Communities in Schools of Greater Tarrant County. She works within the school environment to identify and eradicate barriers that prevent students from having a successful education. Swords was awarded CIS Elementary School Social Worker of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year, CIS Program Manager of the Year (2018-2019), and was selected to attend the 2020 CIS National Student Supports Institute Conference in Las Vegas. Swords received a Bachelor of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. In addition to school social work, she has gained valuable experience working with at-risk children and adolescents through AmeriCorps, nonprofit organizations, and in a residential treatment facility. Swords is dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals, families, and communities in need.
